Social & Conscious
Social
We understand that one of the ways to fight social inequality is by strengthening the local economy.
That’s why we prioritize the use of national, organic, and natural raw materials, sourced in partnership with cooperatives and eco-productive communities.
We are committed to social development and see in the solidarity economy an opportunity to generate employment and income.
By purchasing from these producers, we also help protect national forests, value traditional knowledge, and combat deforestation and wildfires.
We believe in and invest in present-day actions that protect our biomes from constant threats, preserve water sources, improve the quality of life for rural women, and prevent the rural exodus of young people.
Sustainability Through Partnerships
Our sustainability efforts go beyond creating clean formulas with fewer synthetics and more plant-based ingredients.
They reflect a collective commitment to sustainable development, greater social equity, and environmental balance. We value Brazil’s diverse biomes and the traditional knowledge of local communities, working to conserve threatened species and ecosystems while generating new opportunities for work and income.
These efforts are only possible through strong partnerships. We collaborate with communities supported by organizations such as the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), Acre Technological Foundation (Funtap), Institute, Society and Nature (ISPN), and World Wildlife Fund (WWF-Brazil), among others—joining forces to protect nature and support the people who safeguard it.
Conscious
We are committed to minimizing our impact on the environment without compromising the quality and availability of natural resources today and tomorrow.
Caring for the planet is not only our duty but also our responsibility to future generations.
Our conscious practices range from the sustainable sourcing of ingredients for our formulas to the use of bioplastics and recycled packaging, compensating 100% of our packaging, encouraging recycling, strengthening reverse logistics, and supporting the circular economy.

We offset 100% of our packaging
Since 2018, we have chosen to go beyond the requirements of Brazil’s National Solid Waste Policy by implementing environmental compensation for our packaging.
In doing so, we reaffirm our commitment to the planet by helping reduce the impact of waste on the environment.
Through eureciclo, a certification program that tracks Brazil’s recycling chain via reverse logistics, we ensure that discarded materials are correctly directed to final recyclers. By offsetting 100% of our packaging, we also encourage cooperatives and partner communities to recycle the same amount of material—generating additional income and providing better working and living conditions.
Sustainable packaging
We emphasize our commitment and efforts to reduce the environmental impact of our business.
That’s why we opt for sustainable packaging and materials, such as bioplastics made from corn starch, BPA-free, which decompose quickly without harming the environment, and free of inks or dyes that could affect recyclability.
We also replace plastic packaging with recycled paper alternatives, which are also used in our promotional materials and catalogues.
Our bags and pouches are made from recycled PET fabric.
Biodegradable ingredients that do not pollute water
Our exfoliants are made with murumuru shell, containing biodegradable particles.
We do not use microplastics, which cause severe environmental damage, especially to marine ecosystems.
Clean formulas
We have eliminated more than 70 substances harmful to health and the environment from our formulas.
You can trust our ingredients to deliver clean and effective treatments.
Our formulas are completely free from sulfates, petrolatum, parabens, dyes, insoluble silicones, and mineral oils.
